Service-Related Growth Research

Are you or is someone you know a U.S. Military Service Veteran?

Researchers at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte are assembling a research pool examining how factors related to military life enable psychological growth. We recognize that service members in all career fields across all branches of the military are faced with uniquely challenging and very stressful situations on a regular basis, whether in combat roles or not. We also recognize that the transition from military to civilian life has its own challenges. We want to learn more.

Veterans joining our research pool will enable our efforts in understanding how unique challenges faced by military members and veterans leads to positive psychological change (service-related growth) so we might help more military members and veterans.

To participate, please contact:

UNCC Service-Related Growth Research Group leader (Maj. Taryn Greene) at 813-404-4152 or PosttraumaticGrowth@uncc.edu
